Magnificent and rare pair of large Empire-style Paris porcelain brûle-parfums made in the Feuillet workshops (1820-1830).
The incense burners feature delicately hand-painted saucers depicting frieze motifs. They are supported by three feet sculpted with caryatids covered in fine gold enamel.
The lids are openwork to let the rotten pots escape.
    Stamped with intertwined flaming swords.
