Charming Etruscan or Hanap (new form) milk jug decorated with gilding around the rim and a garland of cornflowers.

Etruscan shapes at Sèvres
From 1779 onwards, Angivillier was responsible for renewing the shapes of his pieces, using an antique repertoire. The finest example of this emulation is undoubtedly the commission for Marie-Antoinette at the Rambouillet dairy.
