Beautiful Paris porcelain shuttle-shaped ornamental openwork bowl, almond green ground enhanced with agate-burnished fine gold gilding and black palmettes, a gold DS monogram on the foot. Restoration-period Empire work, early 19th century circa 1830.

A fine piece of above-average size, very decorative and furnishing. The almond color gives it a freshness that sets it apart from the classic white and gold pieces.

Ideal for displaying fruit on a dining room table, or to complement candlesticks on a mantelpiece or chest of drawers.

Our bowl is in excellent condition, with no damage and well-preserved gilding, with slight wear on the base.
