    This masterly porcelain bowl and its bronze base are German Baroque from the 19th century (Saxony), highly ornamented on a shuttle shell with flowers, foliage and fruit. A work in a thick support paste for the body of a beautiful movement, but so delicate for the ornaments that decorate it, a beautiful piece despite the fragility to shocks came to us in a more than honorable condition; small ajours in the tip of the shell undulating and slightly ribbed, the decoration in the bright tone does not demerit and the base with four legs well stable (weighted under the foot) remains in the same spirit of this production of charming ornamental pieces and in the Baroque spirit. In good condition, it can be used as a central decoration on a table or chest of drawers.
