    Good condition.
    The Cloutier brothers, born in 1930, died in 2008 and 2015, were French ceramists and sculptors. They first worked in the workshops of Jouve, Rivier and Chambost, before setting up their own studio in 1956. They developed a red glaze that met with international success, and then, around 1960, new firing methods.They created models for Haviland in 1964, and collaborated with architects on interior design projects for Galeries Lafayette and Air France. From 1967, they produced commissions for Mitsukoshi, and also worked with the painter Edouard Pignon.
