This ceramic dish is signed to Ann Dangar (1885-1951), an Australian artist living in France and influenced by the cubism of Albert Gleizes. Slightly hollow with a delicately upturned rim, it features the refined, stylized decoration characteristic of her work at Moly-Sabata.

The beige glaze, punctuated by brown and black motifs inspired by the Bhai of Cubism, bears witness to the blend of modernist influences and traditional craftsmanship. The authentic craftsmanship and slight surface irregularities reinforce the piece's handmade look.

Note a slight dent, regrettable but taken into account in the price evaluation.
