This thick and beautifully shaped porcelain is a chocolate cup circa 1830 during the Reign of Louis Philippe. In Paris porcelain, this piece in good condition with highlights of bright and matte gold with a pretty bright green rim like its saucer is decorated with a stylized gold frieze on a white background and bright gold borders like the foot. The pretty luminous landscape of a house in the trees or a farmer on a path leading to the gate, a dominant promontory in the foreground, and a body of water animated with characters. The framing of the scene with two golds and pretty palmettes. It is a piece spared from wear or excessive restoration, brel a collector's cup in good condition which clearly marks the romantic style of this period of the first half of the 19th century rich in tableware
