This porcelain bowl, created by Haviland around 1891 in Limoges, is a charming square decorative plate. It features a design of crested birds perched on branches, with a small blue dragonfly at the bottom right. The edge is adorned with fine gold detailing. There is a tiny defect on the bottom right edge, measuring approximately 2 to 3 mm, which is quite negligible upon inspection (see attached photo for reference).

Haviland was one of the most prominent porcelain makers in France during the latter half of the 19th century and the early 20th century. The mark underneath the plate reads "H & Cie" with "L" and "France," which is one of the marks associated with Haviland.

For further information, refer to "La Porcelaine de Limoges" by Jean d'Albis and Céleste Romanet, published by Éditions Sous le Vent, Paris, in 1980.
