Beautiful ovoid-shaped chocolate cup (large format) in Paris porcelain from the Empire Restoration period. Beautiful decoration on an emerald green background, decorated with a polylobed cartouche and bands of matt and shiny antique gold motifs on a white background. Empire Restoration period, early 19th century.

This type of decor with a solid color and gold patterned bands is typical of the Nast Manufacture. Our cup is not signed, but this attribution remains very probable.

Chocolate cups were the largest format of the time, similar to the size of a tea cup today. Beautiful, refined accessory, for everyday personal pleasure.

It is in very good condition. No accident, well preserved gilding with very slight wear.
