Rich service comprising four cups and saucers, a sugar bowl, a milk jug and a coffee pot. The cups have scrolled handles and palmettes, while the sugar bowl is particularly neat, with swan-neck handles, and pinecone-shaped grips on the tops. Rare purplish background, and gilding band with delicate friezes in matte and burnished. A top-quality gold-backed model. This color is typical of the early 19th century, yet it is rarely encountered...
