Description

This is a small porcelain saucer that was made during the Republic period in China. It has been nicely decorated in a style typical of the time it was made. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to translate the calligraphy. On the reverse there is a Jiangxi mark. As one would expect, there is some wear, especially to the gilding and what appears to be a small repair. The reverse side is a little messy as a result of the firing. Please examine the photos carefully and get in touch if you have any questions.

The saucer is roughly 12.5 cms in diameter and weighs about 104 g.
