Rare set consisting of 5 plates and 1 round dish, with contoured border, in Compagnie des Indes porcelain, decorated in famille rose enamels enhanced with gold with the coat of arms of the Breton families Visdelou de Bonamour* and Boschat d 'Uzel, wing decorated with busts in medallions and rich floral friezes, Qianlong period circa 1765 18th century.
These plates and dish are in good condition and are of exceptional quality. The decor and colors are of great finesse.
A note: small chip on the edge of a plate, tiny chip on the back of a plate, tiny small gaps and enamel jumps on the polychrome decorations and gilding, some enamel defects, wear of time, take a good look at the photos (see red arrows).
* These coats of arms are referenced in the book by A. Lebel "French and Swiss coats of arms on Chinese porcelain in the 18th century" (page 133). These are the arms of the Marquis Visdelou de Bonamour and the Boschat d'Uzel family, both from Brittany.

This service was commissioned for François-César de Visdelou de Bonamour, Lord of Liscoët. He was captain of the king and in 1782 he had his left leg amputated on the "Duke of Burgundy" in a naval battle with the English. He was promoted to Chevalier de Saint-Louis. He married on April 11, 1755 Marie-Madeleine Boschat d'Uzel, daughter of Mathurin knighted in 1768 and Françoise Grangiens. Mathurin worked as a canvas maker and was one of the most important of the Royal Manufacture of Quintin canvases in Brittany.
