Oil on canvas signed upper left, signature to be deciphered, 19th century painting, a very sober still life reminiscent of some 17th century Dutch still lifes, the duck still seems alive with the colors of its plumage still very fresh, but near the neck of the animal are placed on an entablature: a knife and a bowl of blood more than red.
Note an old lining and a later frame with some missing gilding.
