Original oil on original canvas, signed lower left, countersigned and titled on the back. Certificate of authenticity from the SALVANY Art Gallery + old purchase invoice attached.
Very pretty still life with a bouquet of wild flowers including the famous poppy. A veritable explosion of bright colors and strong contrasts, main characteristics of the artist's pictorial style in addition to his palette knife painting technique, of course. A rich, luminous, extremely pleasant and decorative work. Nice frame.

CONDITION
Painting : appears to be in perfect condition (some small dirt and dust marks).

Born in 1957 in Alès, Michel VEZINET began his artistic career in 1972. Recognized among the best French landscape painters, his work reflects great sensitivity as well as a long mastery of oil with knife, a technique he has practiced since 13 years old.
Passionate about the beauties of nature, Michel VEZINET has created a world of softness which, through bright colors and radiant light, releases a power that can only fascinate the viewer.
In any season, from the sea to the mountains through the countryside, whether they are from Brittany, Provence or elsewhere, his landscapes and bouquets of flowers express generosity and tranquility.
The artist paints true, fair and solid.
The vitality of his painting is in the expressionist line of the Provençal School but in addition to the sensuality, there is in VÉZINET, this appetite for the material which links it so well with nature.
