Claude ALIOTTI was born in 1925 0 Caudiran (Gironde). He began painting in 1944 in Paris, where he exhibited in several galleries from 1950.
In 1955, he moved to Switzerland, where he exhibited in a Lausanne gallery until 1959.
From 1960 to 1965, he worked in a studio in Fécam, returning to Paris until 1971.
In 1970, he exhibited in Honfleur, and from 1973 onwards, he had special exhibitions in the United States, in 1974 in Los Angeles and 1977.
However, he continued to exhibit in France: Périgueux in 1975, Bordeaux, and constantly in Paris. etc....
Aliotti's painting straddles the boundary between the figurative and the abstract, allowing us to see and feel the lines, spaces and tremors of reality that our waking eyes are hopelessly unable to perceive, but which give rise to dreams.
