*Suzanne et les Vieillards (or Suzanne et les deux vieillards or Suzanne au bain) is a biblical story of a young woman, Suzanne, who, observed taking a bath, refuses the dishonest proposals of two old men. In revenge, they accuse her of adultery and have her condemned to death, but the teenage prophet Daniel intervenes and proves her innocence. He had the old men condemned. The episode is found in chapter 13 of the Book of Daniel, a chapter considered deuterocanonical.
