This work is signed Cornelius de Boudt (1660-1735), painter of the Flemish School, Antwerp.
There are stains, notably in the upper left and between the two figures on the left, yellowing due to age, rubbing and freckling. There is a hole in the drapery of the kneeling figure, a black spot at the bottom and black dots in the cherubs, a fold in the right-hand corners, at the bottom and top. However, this painting remains in a decent state of preservation given its age.
Sold untouched, unrestored.
