Vincenzo Caprile (1856-1936) was a painter from Naples. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, and influenced by the Resina School (a community of Italian painters that emerged in the 1860s in the Herculaneum region, and advocated painting based on truth and the moment), he painted numerous landscapes, genre scenes, and portraits of ordinary people. He achieved some success during his lifetime thanks to his views of Venice and Naples.
Today, some of his works are exhibited in museums in Milan, Bari, Florence, and more.
