Oil on canvas depicting a young woman, dressed in the style of the 17th century, painted on her left profile, holding a bouquet of roses. Richly dressed and adorned with beautiful jewelry, she admires these flowers that she holds in her right hand. Original canvas, stretcher and frame. Good general condition apart from a bitumen coating in the dark parts of the top of the painting, as was very often the case at the time. Signed lower right A.BRASCH, dated 1901.
