This is a beautiful portrait of a woman that we are offering here, full of grace and sensuality.
We were not allowed to identify the author of this portrait and a search for paternity with the Swedish painter Michael Dahl (1659-1743) had to be abandoned. We therefore stick to a French school and place it in the first quarter of the 18th century.
We were also not able to identify the woman at the origin of this portrait.
This painting has been dusted. As is often the case, the varnish is dirty and we think that a little restoration work would allow it to regain all its freshness and clarity.
