Albert Dupin 1910-2005. French artist, sculptor of bas-reliefs and mural compositions of abstract inspiration. Born in Toulouse, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts from 1926 to 1928. In 1945, he exhibited his sculptural compositions at the Salon d'Automne, of which he later became a member.1950, Premier Salon de la Jeune Sculpture at the Musée Rodin.
1954, Salon de Mai.
1965, Wall of the Musée des Moulages at Montpellier's Paul Valéry University.
He later joined the "Montpellier-Sète" artists' group, founded in 1964. This group, formed around the artist François Desnoyer, brought together artists such as Gabriel Couderc, Camille Descossy, Jean Milhau, Gérard Calvet and Elie Sarthou, all of whom were attached to the Midi region. Dupin is the only sculptor in the group.
