This exquisite 18th-century oil painting may depict a portrait of Maria Anna Adelheid of Hohenlohe-Bartenstien (1701-1758) in the 18th century. It is beautifully framed in a giltwood frame by award-winning framer Ms. Boulet Mefret.

The painting is original and produced using the oil painting technique. On the reverse is another painting, which is very rare to find; in the 18th century, artists were sometimes known to reuse canvas due to the high cost of materials. On the back is a depiction of a courting couple and a ruined tower. The noblewoman is the subject of the painting on the front and is captured in a multicolored palette on canvas.

The painting measures 70 cm wide, 83 cm high, and 6 cm deep, making it a medium-sized piece perfect for any art collection. This item is listed by a dealer or reseller and would make an excellent addition to any art lover's collection.

This is a rare find to be treasured.
