Hans Ekegardh (1881-1962) is a painter of Swedish origin, he began his career as a brilliant musician as a violinist and became a painter because he frequented many artists including Matisse whom he met in 1906.
He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Indépendants. The Museum of Modern Art in Paris and provincial museums exhibit some of his works.
