Crafted with high-quality materials, this mural is the perfect centerpiece for any room in your home. Its size (220 cm x 145 cm) and its impressive details make it a truly remarkable piece that is sure to impress your guests. The oil painting was taken from a 17th-century Aubusson tapestry and depicts a woman (Hero) playing a flute with a man (Leander) in the rough sea.

The painting is one of a series of six famous Mortlake tapestries, which depict the ancient Greek myth of tragic love. The priestess Hero and Leander. Leander swam the dangerous currents of the Hellespont between Europe and Asia to see his love, but drowned one stormy night.

The first set of these tapestries was made for James I in 1625.

This stunning French wall mural features a captivating pastoral scene in bold, colorful hues. Large in scale, this wall hanging is the perfect addition to any interior decor.
