    The theme of these pendant paintings is Bacchus and Apollo as children. The very smooth style, all in roundness with a very strong design and a classical composition recalls the classical art of the Bolognese school of the Italian 17th century and in particular Guido Réni. But the invoice seems more recent and dates more precisely from the beginning of the 19th century. It is probably a 19th century copy of decorative panels by a 17th century Italian artist close to Guido Réni.
    The effect is very beautiful with the power of the drawing, the tight framing and the beautiful and frank colors, as well as the set of two oval compositions forming a pendant. The very good condition and the beautiful old frames add to the decorative effect.
