The signature of this oil on panel is difficult to decipher. Perhaps Alain Beaufreton, but I could not confirm it.
It represents an academic nude with a man with slightly inclined eyes. The work is of quality, well executed. The frame is also from the 20th century. It is probably an oil on canvas that has been cut and repositioned on a panel.
We note friction and small white dots on the oil, wear of gilding on the frame. Note what we think is a restoration at the level of the face on the left and on the right side from the middle to the bottom, visible on the 10th and 11th photos. Note small losses on the frame, traces and marks on the burgundy velvet. The work remains largely presentable, we are picky and mention the slightest small defect.
