A lovely gallant scene inspired by the emblematic painters of the 17th and 18th centuries, such as Fragonard and Watteau. A beautiful composition, installed on the balcony of a castle and overlooking a river, the gallant women respond to the greeting of a walker in a rowboat in a country landscape with swans.

Beautiful oil on canvas signed lower right in the decor, framed in molded wood and gilded to perfectly complement the painting.

    Sizes unframed:   H 18.11 Inches. - W 24.01 Inches.

    Sizes with frame:  H 24.40 Inches. - W 29.52 Inches.

In fine condition, with minor restorations, but which in no way affect the quality of the painting.
