David Teniers II, known as the Younger:
born in Antwerp on December 15, 1610 and died in Brussels on April 25, 1690 (at the age of 79), is a Flemish painter, son of David Teniers the Elder and Dymphna de Wilde. Son-in-law of Jan Brueghel the Elder, known as the Velvet, whose daughter Anne he married in first marriage, he is the father of the painter David Teniers III. He remarried in 1656 with Isabelle de Fren, with whom he had four children. He is the nephew of Juliaen Teniers.
