Paul Pascal was a landscape painter born in Toulouse in 1832 and died in Canada around 1905.
He exhibited at the Paris Salon and specialized in Orientalist scenes, treated exclusively in gouache.
Our two small gouaches, framed and under glass, represent two of these oriental scenes. Signed lower right and dated 1883.
They are in impeccable condition, and measure 6.5 cm x 11 cm for the views only. This small format in no way detracts from the very precise details you can see in the photos.
