The long list of countries visited by Mrs. Veda Moses Kahnert that inspired her work;
Jamaica, United States, Mexico, Greece, Ireland, Alaska, Canada, Majorca, Egypt, Norway, Australia, ....
Self-taught painter of expressionist influence, the oldest work listed is from 1958 and for the most recent 2008; the set has for subject landscapes and seasides.
"Veda Moses Kahnert is marked by her native Jamaica and seeks, wherever she goes, a trembling soul and at the same time a certain gravity.
Indeed, her evocations of sites such as "Delphi in Greece" for example, are heart-to-heart with the natural element in its grandeur and aridity..."
