Paul René Yardin was a landscape painter and pupil of Corot. Active from 1830 to 1850, he exhibited regularly at the Salon des Artistes Français. He was one of the painters of the Arras School. He painted Picardy. Initially based in Paris, he later established himself in Nice.
In 1850, he exhibited "Chaumière en Picardie" at the Salon des Artistes Français under number 3122.
