Painting made in oil on canvas mounted (key frame). Beautiful composition for this work signed Th. Legrand, artist active in the 19th century, well referenced: French painter born in Normandy (Saint-Pierre-la-Ville) in 1853. He lived and worked in Normandy but also traveled to Switzerland, Austria and Italy.
A student of Isidore Pils, he made his debut at the Paris Salon in 1876, (sales record at over 3400 euros).
