Oil painting on panel (pitchpin) by the Belgian artist Tony Reniers (1923-2013) entitled "The olive trees" dated and signed 1989. This prolific artist loved and painted the landscapes of Luberon in Provence wonderfully. His pochades all painted on the ground are full of truth. Nature is everywhere present and vibrant. The tones are powerful and the perspectives mastered. Great landscape painter, referenced in the work of Paul Piron equivalent of our Benezit. Student of Lucien Hoch (1899-1972). Dimension 50cmx70cm.
