Oil painting on panel by the Belgian artist Tony Reniers (1923-2013). Entitled "La Provence" dated 1979 and signed. Pupil of Lucien Hock 1899-1972 the painter loved, lived and painted Provence with passion; His work is important and realized for the most part on the ground. This panel is bathed in light and his palette translates well the feeling of fullness and strength of the landscapes of the South of France. The artist is referenced in Paul Piron's book published in 2003 and a monograph is dedicated to him Tony Reniers ou la nature révélée/Benoit Goffin Bruxelles Hayez 2004. Dimensions 70 x 50 cm.
