Oil painting on panel (pitchpin) by the Belgian artist Tony Reniers (1923-2013), titled on the back "Rocher sauvage en Provence" signed and dated 1985. The prolific artist Tony Reniers loved, lived in and painted Provence and in particular the Luberon to perfection. Nature is everywhere present and vibrant. For me he is a great landscape painter. He was a student of Lucien Hoch (1899-1972).
