This riverside landscape was painted by Paul Faugier, a painter from Provence (1841-1915). The work is of high quality, depicting a river with poplars and two figures. It was executed with precision on a cardboard with an attractive, later, mid-twentieth-century frame.
The work is in good overall condition. For the more fussy, there is some gilding wear on the frame.
