Painter born in 1905 in Marseille and died in the same city in 1970.
A painter of the Provençal school born into a family of artists, he began as a painter of theater sets in a vast workshop inherited from his uncle. After the Second World War, he devoted himself to easel painting, constantly painting seaside areas on the French Riviera and landscapes of his Provence in the hinterland.
His style is dynamic and colorful, generous in the material in relief like this oil which is a fine example.
