Vladimir Antihovitch (04/16/1899, Saint Petersburg - 05/26/1971, Saint-Cloud, near Paris)
Graduated from the 2nd Moscow Cadet Corps. Graduated from the Mikhailovsky Cavalry School. Graduate of the Polytechnic Institute. Attended the Petrograd School of Fine Arts. Member of the Great War. Horse artillery lieutenant.
In the North-West Army. Platoon commander of the 2nd Mobile Artillery Park. Appointed lieutenant.
From 1925, he lives in Paris. Cab driver. He painted landscapes of Paris and the surrounding area. In the 1930s, he exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon d'Automne, and in the late 1940s took part in exhibitions in Paris and the provinces. He was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Médaille de Bronze de la Ville de Paris. Two of his paintings were purchased by the City of Paris for the Louvre. He was buried in the Saint-Cloud cemetery (Saint Cloud).
