Very large mural panel, created for monumental murals painted on the gables of New York City apartment buildings by a group of artists called City Walls Inc: Nassos Daphnis, Jason Crum, Tania, Robert Wiegand, Todd Williams and Mel Pezarsky. Six models of these works were created to decorate interior panels of apartments. Our copy corresponds to the building on the corner of Lafayette and Bleecker Streets (New York Magazine - November 29, 1971). See photos of the period and a more recent one.
This large panel, acrylic paint on thick cardboard, measuring (4 by 8 feet) 2.40 m by 1.20 m, in very vivid colors, depicts a futuristic stylized landscape of flowers and trees. Signed in pencil lower right.
Very good condition, traces of thumbtacks in the corners.
