Shu TANAKA is a Japanese painter from the Ecole de Paris of the 50s and 60s. After studying art in Japan, he traveled extensively in Europe, including a long stay in Paris. In the mid-50s, the artist took part in numerous group exhibitions in Japan and France (Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in Paris in 1959). Exhibitions at Galerie Yoshii (Tokyo and Paris), Galerie de Beaune (Paris) between 1957 and 1959.
