Oil on canvas, 100x80cm, circa 1950/1960.
A superb oil painting treated in chiaroscuro!! A painter friend tells me she sees reminiscences of the painting of Napoleon Bonaparte in the Alps... why not!

A work from the same period was acquired by the Grenoble Museum. The artist subsequently gave a geometric orientation to his work. Most of the works from this period were destroyed by the fire in his studio in 1970.
His works are preserved at the Pompidou Center.
