Classic mirror of Louis XVI period, end of 18th century. It is divided into 2 distinct parts, a high part the pediment and a low part in main embedding the mirror.
The pediment finely openwork is carved and decorated in the central part with an eagle. The eagle has the head turned to the left. On each side of the eagle, there are scrolls, flowers and pine cones.
Lack of gilding on the pediment.
The mirror is in mercury
