Table mirror or psyche, finely chiseled gilt bronze frame, cut crystal and crystal-ceramic* foot representing the famous sculpture La Frileuse by Houdon, rotating mercury mirror (original), from the 1st Empire period, early 19th century.
This mirror is in good condition, it is of exceptional quality and finesse of execution. The top part can be dismantled.
Note: small weakness in the fixing of the mirror to the base (see photo), tiny micro-chips on the edge of the crystal at the base (almost invisible), a few small stains on the ice (a little faded in places), wear time, see photos.
