-Important carved and gilded wooden mirror from the Louis XVI period. The rectangular shaped frame is sober and discreet in its sculpture. These straight, architectural lines are softened by a richly carved pediment with a quiver intertwined in a sculpted garland of flowers, oak leaves and acorns falling symmetrically on either side of the mirror.

-This mirror is a fine example of Parisian carpentry furniture from the Louis XVI period.
