Framed mirror in solid mahogany, with moldings formed by knocking out. The high crosspiece is slightly curved, and the four angles are jumping.
The glass, with bevelled edges and mercury, is original. As a result, it presents some traces of seniority which in no way hinder the use of this mirror, but attest to its authenticity.
On either side, two curved consoles support two shelves with grooved edges. Two mahogany circles, screwed into them, can be used as receptacles for candles or other decorative objects.
The back is equipped with an iron ring allowing the installation of the set.
This mirror is reminiscent of the creations of Louis Majorelle, French cabinetmaker of the Art Nouveau movement, lover of naturalistic shapes and curved lines.
