Louis XVI period pediment mirror. Late 18th century. Provençal model. In molded, carved and gilded wood. It has an openwork pediment with a bouquet of flowers and different foliage patterns. The frame is carved with a row of simple pearls and a row of alternating pearls. The four corners are decorated with squares decorated with rosettes. Oak leaves and laurel leaves complete the decoration. The gilding is original. Two small repairs to the foliage. The mirror is original with its mercury stain. Note some pitting of the stain.
