Magnificent gilded wood mirror topped by a large pediment featuring the face of the Sun King as a child, wearing feathers and jewels. It is surrounded by braids, foliage, leaves and flowers. On either side, putti, arms raised, hold a large garland of flowers falling on the mirror. The molded frame of this large mirror is adorned with flowers, scrolls and a ribboned cord. The mercury glass is beveled and original. A prestigious piece in remarkable condition.
