This small 18th-century mirror is in the pure Louis XVI style, in carved gilded wood with a rectangular beaded frame topped by an openwork pediment with a central wheat sheaf and two intersecting quivers, stylized acanthus scrolls on the collars and beautiful flowers in full bloom in the center. 0 braided laurel leaf drops ending in a generous tassel. The base in gold ends in a gilded pin with strill-edged side springs. The rustic beading and the mercury molding of the period are preserved. At the rear, a panel closes this attractive piece with its simplicity and proportion. Sound piece in good condition with original patinated gilding....
