Elegant Roman mirror from the first half of the 18th century, entirely carved, engraved and gilded with gold leaf.

The mirror presents itself as a triumph of carved wood, with a movement that develops from the bottom to the top, where it is possible to appreciate all its finesse.

The cyma is a succession of rocaille scrolls and plant bouquets, while the sides feature two cherubs' heads.

The lower part features a cluster of motifs that contribute to the elegance and refinement of this splendid object.

The mirror is made of mercury glass and is contemporary with the wooden frame.
