Refined Louis XVI mirror, composed of a mirror and gilding in perfect condition.
This rectangular mirror has a narrow surround formed by a groove and a string of pearls towards the inside of the mirror. Towards the outside of this frame, a recessed band of dark wood ends in the lower part with a foliage motif accompanied by a pine cone. In the upper part, two falls composed of foliage are surmounted by a very decorative pediment composed of a base with vertical grooves and above an oval frame receiving a mirror. On the frame, an important interlaced ribbon is accompanied on each side by two cords. The longest will reach the outside of the ice. We find on each side a large branch composed of leaves falling on the outside.
This delicately crafted mirror will arouse interest with its brilliance and presence.
